Illegal Counter Drone System Used At Ultra Music Festival

Counter drone technology used at Ultra Music Festival in Miami did not have FAA approval and likely broke federal laws.

sUAS Pilots hired to do aerial videography of the event were blocked from doing their job and got placed into risky situations due to the jamming signals being sent from Vigilant Drone Defense's counter UAV system.

Hopefully this will bring the industry forward by providing more defined guidelines for counter drone systems and set forth consequences for breaking them.
