FAA To Debut Remote ID Rule in July

The talk surrounding remote ID seems to build momentum every month and now we are seeing the FAA begin to set forth its ruling for remote identification of UAS this July.

"We are working currently to ensure that we keep the policy component along with standards and remote id infrastructure all developed and harmonized,” said Executive Director Jay Merkle said during a Senate Commerce Committee hearing about integrating new entrants into the National Airspace System.
