Industry Experience:

Trained as a US Navy Photographers Mate, Doug has traveled the world with his cameras, shooting in every situation from industrial, underwater, skydiving imagery, to local color for the navy. In recent years, Doug picked up video recording and editing skills, and saw the immediate advantage of photography from drones. Doug passed the FAA Part 107 commercial license requirements the first week it was available, so has been flying commercially for nearly two years. He is fully insured for personal liability and flight liability. He has documented from the air everything from large buildings and construction sites. Last year, he was sent to Miami to film restoration efforts from the air for a Detroit based power utility company.
